I'm a hands-on engineering leader with over 7 years applying AL/ML to mental health and poverty. I architect solutions, grow and lead teams, and create technical roadmaps and vision. More than anything else, I love to code.
Work
I build award-winning, beautiful, pixel-perfect products that have received the Editor's Choice Award multiple times from Apple and Google. I architect scalable, secure solutions used by over 100m users and in regulated industries such as health care and finance.
About
When I'm not coding, you might find me cycling in Marin. I enjoy both road and mountain biking, as well as jogging and hiking. I'm father to two boys, who keep me on my toes and always re-learning through their eyes. I enjoy working with them on competition math and am an enormous fan of the excellent curriculum at Art of Problem Solving. I also love to travel and read fiction.
